Sarah Smigel is a seasoned finance executive with over 35 years of experience in financial management and operations in both domestic and international markets. She possesses a wide range of skills and expertise in accounting, forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, and reporting, as well as in leading matrixed Financial Shared Services organizations. With a strong background in financial controls and quality processes, Sarah excels in leadership, business partnering, communication, interpersonal relations, and analytical thinking.  

Devoted to fostering staff and organizational development, Sarah is committed to implementing training and mentoring programs that empower individuals to reach their full potential. Throughout her tenure at a Fortune 500 company, she consistently demonstrated her ability to create, repair, or optimize various business situations. Notably, she played a pivotal role in establishing two joint ventures from the ground up and contributed significantly to the successful division of the original company into two distinct entities. Sarah also gained valuable experience while working for a privately held medical supply company, where she effectively implemented best practices and synergies to reduce costs. 

Driven by a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex financial challenges, Sarah consistently strives to identify more profitable pathways for organizations. Her pursuit of excellence led her to obtain an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In her leisure time, Sarah enjoys traveling, reading, and baking delightful treats for her friends.
