Marty Weinberg is an accomplished CFO and COO with over 30 years of experience driving financial and operational excellence across the consumer products industry, including beauty and personal care, apparel, home furnishings, and consumer electronics. He has a proven track record leading public and private companies, private equity-backed ventures, and family-owned businesses through successful restructurings and strategic growth initiatives. He has also been involved in the sale of four companies, resulting in sustained profitability. A hands-on executive and trusted advisor to investors, boards, and CEOs, Marty brings deep expertise in wholesale, retail, and e-commerce. His leadership has delivered impact through sales and margin planning, cost optimization, brand and licensing strategies, and long-term financial modeling, making him a valuable partner in navigating complex financial landscapes.
Marty began his career at Arthur Andersen, Avon Products, and General Mills, then transitioned to mid-market companies with revenues ranging from $20M to $800M. As a CFO/COO and advisor, he has helped clients address complex financial challenges, lead operational turnarounds, manage lender negotiations, and execute carve-outs. He blends financial discipline with strategic execution to support growth, transformation, and value creation.
Marty holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Emory University and a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University. A CPA, he also earned a Certificate in Financial Management from The Wharton School. He is active in the AICPA and NYSSCPA and serves as a mentor through Big Brothers of New York. He lives in the New York area with his family and remains engaged in both professional and community initiatives.
