John Ferrara

John Ferrara has served as CFO for several public, private, and private equity–backed companies across digital media, technology, consulting, and professional services. His experience spans start-ups, turnarounds, and high-growth organizations, supported by earlier roles at two Fortune 500 companies and a Big 4 public accounting firm. John is a trusted advisor to Boards and CEOs, a strategic partner to operating leaders, and a key liaison to the financial community.

Throughout his career, John has developed and executed strategic, operational, and financial plans that drive measurable results. He has led capital raises, identified and integrated acquisitions, improved profitability and cash flow, and strengthened overall shareholder value. John has secured more than $500 million in debt and equity capital to support organic growth and fund the acquisition of more than eight businesses across four companies. He has also led the successful sale of four companies to both strategic buyers and private equity firms. He is known for fostering sound business practices, financial discipline, and accountability.

John is an experienced Board Director, having served on the Boards of five public companies. He is a long-standing member of The Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG) and The Executive Forum, and a former member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). John earned his MBA in Finance from Columbia University in New York and his BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
