David Walker

Dave Walker is a seasoned CFO with over 20 years of experience in hedge funds and private equity organizations. He has extensive knowledge in fund operations including startups as well as multi-billion dollar multi-asset class funds. He is a forward thinker who drives results through process optimization ensuring full end-to-end process is efficient and drives profitable outcomes. He is also skilled in regulatory and compliance issues surrounding fund establishment, operations and reporting.

As a tested leader, Dave has implemented KPI dashboard reporting, forecasting processes and monthly NAV and firm reporting packages. Through thoughtful analytics, Dave has been able to drive financial performance through tracking of key metrics and finding ways to improve operational and financial processes to improve cash flow and overall profitability. David has also managed prime broker relationships, tax, audits, compliance, human resources administration, facilities management, treasury and IT.

David holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelors from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He lives in the Miami, Florida, but can travel extensively if necessary. David is a former US Army Special Forces (“Green Beret”) Commander, Ranger and Airborne. He is VFR rated Private Pilot and enjoys Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, standup paddleboarding, skiing, surfing, scuba diving, cycling and international travel. He has served on the Board of four Non-Profits.
