Joan Lavis

Joan Lavis is a seasoned executive with deep finance and operations expertise.  She has success in leading numerous organizations across a variety of industries by developing and communicating a clear strategy and building effective teams engaged in achieving the objectives.  

Joan has held progressive roles as auditor, managing director, assistant treasurer, and investment banker at Ernst & Young, GE Capital, UBS, and as CFO and COO of several private companies.  Joan has extensive operational and strategic experience, and has completed numerous mergers and acquisitions, business divestitures, and debt and equity financings.

Joan has broad experience in Financial Services, SaaS, Media, and Retail.  She holds an MBA from University of Rochester, Simon School of Business, and a BS from SUNY Oneonta, and is a licensed CPA.
