Cruz Gamboa is a seasoned corporate finance and strategy executive, business coach, and fractional CFO with a passion for helping SMBs and startups scale effectively. He has dedicated his career to working at the intersection of finance, strategy, and growth, providing leadership and expertise that enable businesses to optimize their financial operations and achieve sustainable growth.

Cruz began his finance career with General Electric (GE) through their prestigious Finance Management Program (FMP). His journey at GE saw him take on progressively senior roles, including Finance Manager, FP&A Leader, and Commercial Finance Leader. He played a pivotal role in corporate finance, including managing structured loans for mid-market manufacturing clients at GE Capital. His leadership of the capital markets team in Latin America provided deep transactional finance experience. As Regional CFO for GE’s Gas Power business in Latin America, Cruz led the team to a record year, selling over 1.5GW of power projects.

Cruz is deeply committed to problem-solving and continuous learning. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Finance from New York University (NYU). His analytical mindset and personal dedication to growth extend beyond work, as he actively supports companies through his roles as a business coach and fractional CFO.
