Vaughn Henson
CFO | PrincipalVaughn Henson is a talented professional with extensive financial and operation experience across a wide range of industries. His career began as a CPA in public accounting and progressed to President of a fast growing transportation and parts processing company. Under his leadership annual volumes grew from 250,000 units to 3.5M, and profits increased by 5X. Vaughn is a roll-up-the-sleeves problem solver with a natural talent to relate to and engage with people throughout an organization. Combined with his certification as a Financial Literacy Coach he has the knowledge and experience to help define and achieve strategic financial and operational goals.
Vaughn earned an MBA from the University of Tulsa and has led acquisitions, system wide ERP selections and implemented self-insurance captive programs for over 700 employees. His leadership has consistently resulted in improved cash flow, profitability and more efficient inventory management, where cash tends to hide in dusty corners of a warehouse. He is skilled in defining, developing and displaying meaningful KPIs that drive performance.
In 2018 he was elected by his colleagues to be the Chairman of the Remanufacturing Industries Council, a lobbying group to promote the economic and environmental benefits of remanufacturing. He served on the board Compat.io, a software startup, and is a long-time board member of Champion Athletes of the Ozarks, providing training and life-skill coaching for mentally disabled persons.
Vaughn has been married for over 35 blissful years, he and Cara have three wonderful children, and 2 or 3 cats and dogs depending on which strays are being fed. He enjoys the great outdoors and takes advantage of what the Ozarks have to offer with boating, motorcycle touring and golfing.
