Roy Ryniker

Roy Ryniker is a transformational Senior Executive and Board Director who combines strategic, financial and operational skills in the development and execution of operational and financial restructuring plans, restoring growth and profitability. He is experienced in diverse roles as President of several middle market companies, as senior financial advisor and Chief Restructuring Officer for both underperforming and growing companies.

Roy has diversified industry experience in driving change. He has led growth and restructuring of a manufacturer/distributor which resulted in being awarded a Top 300 ecommerce site in the USA by Internet Retailer. He successfully strategically refocused a technology company selling sensors to the U.S Navy and Boeing resulting in significant profitability growth and the sale of the business. Roy led the operational restructuring of a liquefied petroleum gas storage company, expanding operations and profitability leading to the sale of the business for $31 million. Roy is an expert in both out-of-court restructurings and bankruptcy proceedings. His experience includes working with management, staff, equity holders, creditors, union representatives and government regulatory officials.

Roy’s education includes an undergraduate degree, magna cum laude in economics, from Harvard University and an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Consultant. Roy is active in various unique volunteer activities such as teaching a two-week course in entrepreneurship at the University of Rwanda in Musanze, Rwanda sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development. He has the life experience of being married and raising four children. In the spirit of full disclosure, he is a lousy golfer and a mediocre tennis player.
